Psyche and Philosophy

This inaugural joint CRMEP/Kingston – LEPC/Paris 8 research seminar will explore the theme of psyche and philosophy through discussion of the relationship between psychiatry and philosophy during the 20th century. Sessions will reflect upon the emergence of phenomenological psychiatry, Daseinsanalyse, Institutional Psychotherapy, and the impact of neuroscience and the emergence of the 'new brain'.

There will be sessions in both French and English.
