Class times
The language programme is delivered in self-contained 'units/modules' over the two semesters of the academic year:
- Semester 1: October-December (10 teaching weeks)
- Semester 2: January/February-May (11 teaching weeks)
If you are a student at Kingston University, KLS modules are normally taken as part of your credited programme.
Days and times
KLS classes take place within timetable slots which are normally reserved for languages.
Kingston Hill groups
French, German and Spanish: classes reserved for only students from the Faculty of Business & Law take place once weekly on Mondays or Fridays (depending on your group/level) normally 9-11 am.
Penrhyn Road groups
French, German and Spanish: classes take place twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays within the timetable slot 4-6pm.
Arabic, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin: classes take place twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays within the timetable block 5-8pm.
