Accomodation

We can arrange self-catering accommodation for you in a University hall of residence. Pre-Sessional students are usually accommodated in Middle Mill halls of residence, just a short walk away from the Penrhyn Road campus and Kingston town centre. The halls offer:

  • A single room, with shared use of kitchen and bathroom. You provide your own cooking equipment and do your own cleaning.

During the course

Standard Pre-Sessional accommodation runs from the Sunday before the start of your course until the Saturday after the course finishes. If you are going to continue your studies at Kingston, you will need to move in to your main accommodation for the academic year (a room in halls if you have applied for this, or private accommodation that you have arranged), no later than the Saturday.

Please note: Students attending the 15-week course must move rooms after their first two to three weeks.

Before the course

If you would like University accommodation before the start of the course, there are a limited number of rooms available for an extra cost. Please contact the Course Administrator for prices and booking as soon as possible. Alternatively, we can provide you with a list of bed and breakfasts in the area.

Important: If you require hall of residence accommodation for the academic year, you must apply for this separately on the form sent to you by the main University Admissions Office.
