Facilities and resources
During the course
You will be based on the main University campus at Penrhyn Road and can use all of the University's facilities during your course. These include extensive computing facilities and the Fitness Centre. Pre-Sessional students also have a baseroom of their own, equipped with a range of information leaflets and resources for your use during the course.
Learning Resources Centres
The University has four Learning Resources Centres (LRCs), which have large libraries of books, print and electronic journals, specialist collections, private study areas with computers, plus a wireless network for laptop use.
Study support
We are determined to help you successfully complete your course. In your weekly tutorial you can discuss any problems that you may have and receive valuable advice and guidance.
We also arrange tours of the Learning Resources Centres (LRCs). This will include an introduction to the University's extensive e-resources. In addition, we provide free access to the University's interactive English language learning software (EAP Toolkit), so that you can work on specific areas of your English whenever you want.
After the course
Further English language development
During your academic programme at Kingston we offer you free in-sessional English language development classes. At the end of the Pre-Sessional course you will receive information about the range of classes available and advice on which classes to join.
