Study abroad and exchange

Kingston University offers a range of opportunities for studying at the University as an international student, or for existing Kingston students to study overseas.

Socrates-Erasmus Exchange Programme

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has study agreements with a number of universities in Europe under the Socrates/Erasmus scheme.

This programme enables students to study in one of Kingston's partner institutions for one or two semesters, usually at Level 2, and to follow a range of modules in the fields of study of their degree. Students are normally eligible for a study grant.

We currently has agreements with universities in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Spain. For the most part students will need to have some knowledge of the language spoken in the country they choose to study in, but some universities offer courses delivered in English. As part of the exchange programme all students are entitled to take language classes while studying abroad to develop their knowledge and fluency. There are also intensive language courses available to students prior to beginning a study placement.

For more information about these exciting opportunities, please contact the Faculty Coordinator,  Syrena Clarke (tel: +44 (0)20 8417 2386).

American Visiting Student Programme (AVSP)

The Kingston University AVSP Office co-ordinates the enrolment of students from colleges and universities in the USA coming to Kingston on a Study Abroad programme. It also manages exchange programmes that allow Kingston students to go to the States.
