Research in Economics

The connecting theme of our current research is 'the processes and institutions associated with economic growth and development'. Some aspects of this overall theme currently receive particular attention, for example:

  • movement of goods (trade) and factors (mobility)
  • the financial environment
  • monetary and fiscal policy during development / transition
  • economies that are in transition
  • the contribution of small enterprises.
