Centre for Local History Studies

The Centre for Local History Studies is one of the research centres working within the University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The key aim of the Centre is to encourage research into the local region by undertaking research projects centred on Kingston and its locality; by encouraging postgraduate work in local history; and by acting as a focus for the local community wishing to develop their interests in local history.
