School of Social Science
The School of Social Science is a highly-rated and dynamic centre for teaching and research across the social sciences, in sociology, politics, psychology, history, criminology, human rights and international studies.
Teaching
We have over 40 academic staff and we pride ourselves on being accessible, friendly and intellectually challenging. We are highly rated for our teaching and for research, notably in European Studies and in History.
Courses
The School provides a very wide range of undergraduate courses, a set of specialist and distinctive masters degrees and we have a strong involvement in national, European and international teaching and research networks and collaborations.
