I am a neuroscientist interested in interdisciplinary psychological research addressing different aspects of human behaviour. The old dichotomy between internal (cognitive/neural) and external (social, environmet) factors can be detrimental to the understanding of the complexities of our behaviour.

Current research projects focus on:
- memory biases in social contexts
- self-perception in patients with dementia
- emotion processing and resilience in Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy
- art appreciation
- quallity of experience analysis of visual information

My lab employs cognitive, evolutionary, neural and social toolkits to address those questions in a wide and integrated context.
